4.1 The Committee received evidence from:
· Rosemary Agnew, Scottish Public Services Ombudsman
· Marie Anderson, Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman
4.2 During the session the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman agreed to provide:
· A copy of the published paper on the savings to investigative resources as a result of own initiative investigations;
· A copy of the report on “Mapping the administrative justice landscape”, published in 2014;
· The decision making framework for own initiative investigations.
4.3 During the session the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman agreed to provide further information on the parliamentary set principles which provide the basis for the complaints handling procedures model.
5.1 The committee received evidence from:

6.1.a The Committee noted the letter from Bangor and District Women's Aid in relation to the Welsh Government's draft budget 2018-19.
6.2.a The committee noted the letter from Adam Price AM in relation to the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.
6.3.a The Committee noted the letter from the Welsh Language Commissioner in relation to Welsh medium childcare and early year's education provision.
6.4.a The Committee noted the letter from the Minister for Housing and Regeneration in relation to making the economy work for people on low incomes.
6.5.a The Committee noted the additional information provided by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales in relation to scrutiny of the annual report.
7.1 The Committee agreed the Motion.
